Founded by Mike Sanchez, Paulette Tavira, and Damien Komala, the company began at the intersection of family and entrepreneurship. The name honors the birthdates of Mike’s children, Logan and Mila — a daily reminder that everything here must be built with care, intention, and a long-term view.
Mike, a serial entrepreneur and devoted family man, has long carried the dream of building a marketing company rooted in connection. With decades of experience in business development and founding ventures, he brings both vision and resilience to 1824. His belief in relationships, community, and long-term legacy anchors the agency at its core.
Mike and Paulette first crossed paths years ago, when Paulette oversaw operations at one of his earlier ventures. There, she developed the discipline of building systems and scaling teams — principles that would later bring them back together to form 1824. Their shared vision: an agency where growth is intentional, personal, and lasting.
That vision deepened with the arrival of Damien, whose 25 years of brand development and expertise in UI/UX introduced a fresh perspective on how great brands are designed and experienced. Together, the trio blends Mike’s decades of business development and founder experience, Paulette’s strategic vision, with expertise in systems and scalable operations, and Damien’s creative and technical mastery. The result is 1824 Media — not just an agency, but a legacy-building partner for brands ready to grow with purpose.
